Ivrea Historical Carnival is a big folk festival which goes on for a week
with many folkloristic events related to the history of the town since the
seventeenth century. |

It's best known for its Orange Fight where helmeted men on carriages get
pelted with fresh oranges by hundreds of people in the squares.
You'll be based in the center of the historical town, in the real hart
of the carnival.
You can just go downstairs into the party, or be guided
hiking, icefall-climbing or ski-touring. |
